We created Mamma Mingle because Canberra had plenty of playgroups for babies — but nowhere that really focused on mums. So many women told us they felt unseen, alone, or unsure where to go to make mum friends. We wanted to change that.
At Mamma Mingle, our focus is on the woman behind the mum — because her identity and sense of connection matter too. We welcome every kind of mother — whether you are expecting your first or wrangling your fifth. Littles are welcome, but the conversation is about you.
This isn’t a class and it’s definitely not a sit-in-a-circle-and-share-your-deepest-feelings kind of morning.
It’s organised bumping-into-cool-people.
You’ll chat to a few mums quickly (so no awkward getting stuck), have a laugh about this stage of life, and then hang out with whoever you clicked with.
