A little shift that makes a big difference.
Due to space limitations (and a whole lotta love from our community 💛), we’ve introduced a new monthly appraisal system to help manage intake and maintain the boutique feel you know and love.
Starting now, we’ll only accept certain sizes, brands, genders, and styles each month. This keeps our racks fresh, our storage in check, and our donations flowing to those who need them most.

On the first of every month, we publish a list of what we’re currently accepting – think of it like a monthly wardrobe wish list

Step Three
If your items match the current list, hooray! Bring them in for appraisal.
If they don’t? They’ll be automatically donated to our charity partners like Canberra Circle of Women – no exceptions (unless you're a Founding VIP – more on that below).

If you’ve been with us from the beginning and hold 2026 VIP Appraisals status, you can continue to bring your full capsule for appraisal, regardless of the current list. This is our way of saying thank you for being part of our first steps.

If you’ve been told via email and text that you’re a 2025 Appraisal VIP, you’re in! If you're unsure, pop in or send us a message and we'll check for you.

Due to limited storage and overwhelming demand, we’ve introduced a monthly appraisal list to better manage stock flow and ensure we’re accepting items our customers are actively looking for.

We now only appraise items that match a set list of sizes, styles, and categories that changes each month. Items outside this list will be automatically donated to charity.

Yes! The list rotates monthly based on the season, demand and space. If your items aren’t eligible this time, they might be perfect in a future drop – keep an eye out!
